Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated · July 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the AMMOS website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AMMOS and are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your visit applies, and your continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Use of the Site
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as viewing information about AMMOS and making enquiries or reservations. You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or its underlying systems, not to interfere with its normal operation, and not to copy, scrape or reproduce its content for commercial purposes without our permission. All content on this site — including text, photographs, graphics, logos and the AMMOS name — is our property or is used under licence and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our prior written consent.
3. Reservations & Enquiries
Reservations made via contact form or email are subject to confirmation, and a reservation is only valid once you have received a confirmation from us. If you need to cancel or change a booking, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance by email or phone. For larger groups or special events we may request a deposit; where a deposit applies, the terms will be explained to you at the time of booking, and a cancellation made after the stated deadline may result in the deposit being retained. In the case of a no-show, we reserve the right to release the table and, where a deposit was taken, to retain it. We do our best to honour every confirmed reservation but cannot guarantee a specific table and may occasionally need to adjust arrangements due to circumstances beyond our control.
4. Liability
The AMMOS website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we make every effort to keep the information on it accurate and up to date — including menus, opening hours and prices — we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, and details may change without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on any information it contains. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or in respect of any consumer rights that cannot be waived under Greek law.
5. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Syros, Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that allow a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
