1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is AMMOS Cocktail Resto-Bar, Ios Chora, 84001, Cyclades, Greece. VAT number (ΑΦΜ): 043395797. You can contact us about any data-protection matter at john@mercurion.eu.
2. Data We Collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email, phone number (optional) and message. When you browse the site, our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use may also automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device details, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through server logs and, where enabled, analytics cookies, and is used to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used. For details of the cookies we use, please see our Cookie Policy.
3. Purpose & Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process personal data to respond to your enquiries and manage reservations, based on your consent and our legitimate interest. We keep the data you provide only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected — typically, enquiry and reservation details are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep them longer to comply with legal, accounting or tax obligations. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we will not use it for a new, unrelated purpose without first informing you and, where required, obtaining your consent.
4. Third Parties
To operate the site and respond to you, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate data-protection agreements. These currently include our website hosting provider (Lovable); our email provider, used to receive and reply to your enquiries; Google Analytics, where analytics are enabled, to understand how the site is used; and Google Maps, used to show our location. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that is the case, appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
